Thanksgiving Classic - Dee Mosion earns his first points. At the recent Thanksgiving Classic (a.k.a. Turkey Circuit) Dee Mosion was second in the Jr. Western Pleasure and picked up his first AQHA point. Watch for more show results on this great young buckskin gelding.
Region 2 Experience was another great experience for This Is Dee One and the Byers Family. Holly and Deon scored a perfect score in the youth trail and won the buckle for the second year in a row. Holly and Deon were also Reserve Champions in the Youth Horsemanship and third in the Youth Western Pleasure. Deon was also Reserve Champion in the Sr. Western Pleasure with Amanda Potts-Kudma. The highlight of the show was Judy Byers showing Deon in the Amateur Novice Western Pleasure and being named Reserve Champion. This was Judy's fourth ride on Deon EVER! Dee Mosion wins his first time out!
Gibson won his very first time out, shown one handed in a bridle. He is now a futurity winner and money earner. This great gelding is destined to follow in his brother hoof prints. Sired by Dee Invitation - same sire as This Is Dee One and out of our World Champion Buckskin Western Pleasure mare Causinacomosion. Watch for for Gibson to be out again later this summer. Words can not express how thankful we are to Tony, Judy and Holly Byers, owners, and to Scott Neuman, trainer, for doing such a great job with This Is Dee One a.k.a. Dee Dee. In 2006 Holly and Deon became our first ever Top 5 at the Congress when they placed 5th out of 98 entries in the Novice Youth Horsemanship. Holly and Dee Dee also qualified for the Youth World show and had a great showing there for their first time there. Scott and Dee Dee then made us all really proud by placing 15th in a super tough pen of Jr. Trail horses at the 2006 World Show. Thanks you guys. You make us so proud. We could not have asked for a better home, owner or trainer for our guy! DeeDee, Holly and Scott ended the year 4th in the Nation in the Jr. All Around Standings. Good luck in 2007.
This Is Dee One and owner Holly Byers are having a great year. Deon and Holly recently made the top 5 at the 2006 Congress in Columbus Ohio. Holly and Deon were 5th out of 97 entries in the Novice Youth Horsemanship. Holly and Deon along with trainer Scott Neuman of Billings MT have been having a great year. Deon has completed his Youth AQHA Championship and qualified for both the youth and open world shows. Watch for Deon in the Jr. Trail at the World show. Deon is also currently 3th in the Nation in the Jr. All Around standings having earned 60 points this year. Congratulations Holly, Deon and Scott.

Congratulations to our team on such a great weekend at the recent Band City Circuit. Nicole Roberts and My Kinda Investment made their debut at an AQHA show and won their first time out in the Novice Western Pleasure. Nicole also picked up points in Jr. Western Pleasure and Amateur Western Pleasure. What an awesome start Nicole. Good luck and best wishes for continued success with your mare.
The Jr. High Point horse and the AQHA All Around winner was This Is Dee One and Holly Byers and the Sr. High Point Horse was Kirby Cates and Mosen Along. Both horses were bred and raised here. Congratulations gals on a great show.
Brittney Minnish and Lb Sierras Specialdee returned to defend her Novice Amateur High Point title and did so easily. Congratulations Brittney on another great show. This pair picked up wins in the Open Amateur Showmanship as well as numerous wins in a number of events in the Novice Amateur. Brittney was also the High Point Novice Amateur with Kirby Cates and Mosen Along being Reserve High Point Novice Amateur.

We are very proud to report that This Is Dee One a.k.a. Dion and his new owner Holly Buyers just returned from the Mile High Classic Circuit in Denver CO and were named the High Point All Around Novice Youth. Holly and Dion made their debut in Hunter Under Saddle and placed a respectable 3rd and 4th. Their western pleasure placings continue to be strong with no placing lower than 4th at the circuit out of 15 horses. Congratulations Holly and mom and dad Tony and Judy.
Also thanks to Scott Neuman, Dion's new trainer, for doing such a wonderful job with this new team.

The SCSH Team made its presence felt at our home town circuit, the Band City Classic. Both the Halter Division and Performance divisions brought home their share of points and circuit awards. Congratulations to our whole team.
Halter Division
Don, Lori and Kirby Cates showing their 3 year old gelding Casey. Don shows open, Lori shows amateur and Kirby shows the Youth. All three picked up points and Grand Championships in their respective divisions.
Kirby also picked up points in halter with her all around gelding Mosen Along.
Brittany Minnish and her mare LB Sierraspecialdee picked up points in amateur and open mares.
Arnie McGruther showing his yearling filly Illneverdobetterthanu made their debut in halter and had a great showing. This filly will get her share of the points as she matures.
Performance Division
Barb Raymond and Seattles Good Bar. Barb and Suki had a great show picking up wins and points in several different events such as Novice Amateur HUS, Novice amateur western pleasure, horsemanship and eq.
Brittany Minnish earned points in novice amateur western pleasure. This is a new and exciting team. Watch for them as they work towards completing their AQHA and Amateur Championships.
Nikki Beatty and her gelding Zac earned their first points in novice amateur western pleasure with a second place finish. Congrats Nikki and welcome to our team.
Rene Larson and Jessie competed successfully in the Grass Roots Program placing well in all their classes.
My new ride, Zip Back N Relax, aka BamBam put on points in the Jr. Pleasure.
We also enjoyed a visit from our Holland clients, Anna Stenvers and Kees Owendyke during the circuit. It was wonderful to see them both again.

Congratulations to Austin Hall of Cochrane Alberta on his purchase of A Cosmic Investment - a.k.a. Mocha. Mocha will become Austin's new youth mount. Watch for them to make their debut at a show this summer. Austin is the son of Archie and Cindy Hall of The Cochrane Ranch, Cochrane Alberta.

He earned his ROM this summer as a three year old with points earned in halter, western pleasure and trail. He was the High Point Jr. All Around horse at the Big West show and is an AQHA All Around Champion. Watch for Holly and this great gelding, now showing under the guidance of Scott Neuman, Billings, Montana.

Congratulations to Kirby Cates and Mosen Along who were named the 2003 Justin Rookie of the year. We are also very proud to announce that Kirby Cates has been selected as a member of the Canadian World Cup team that will be competing at the World Cup this summer at Dubbo, Australia.
